Είμαστε οι…Belua από την Κύπρο.
Το είδος της μουσικής που παίζουμε είναι…psychedelic pop/rock.
Ξεκινήσαμε να γράφουμε μουσική…γιατί το είχαμε ανάγκη.
Θα σας αρέσουμε αν σας αρέσουν οι…Syd Arthur, The Mysterons, The Fleet Foxes ή οι All Them Witches.
Ένα κομμάτι μας που πρέπει να ακούσετε είναι το…Mercy.
Την πρώτη φορά που ανεβήκαμε στη σκηνή για live…ενθουσιαστήκαμε που ακούσαμε για πρώτη φορά τη μουσική μας δυνατά!
Το ελληνικό (κυπριακό στην περίπτωσή μας) μουσικό ραδιόφωνο (των FM)…υποστηρίζει όσο πιο λίγο μπορεί την εγχώρια μουσική δημιουργία, άρα σε εμάς ως μουσικούς δεν προσφέρει κάτι ουσιαστικό.
Θα θέλαμε κάποτε να κάνουμε ένα live στο...The Roundhouse στο Λονδίνο!
Θα γουστάραμε να ήταν δική μας σύνθεση το…Ode to Summer των Syd Arthur.
Ένα live που παραβρεθήκαμε -σαν θεατές- και μας «πήρε τα μυαλά», ήταν…οι Motorpsycho στο Fuzz τον Σεπτέμβρη!
Η συμβουλή μας σε όποιον σκέφτεται να φτιάξει μπάντα είναι…να βρει τη δική του μουσική ταυτότητα.
Χωρίς το internet, η μουσική…και η ζωή θα ήταν πολύ διαφορετικές!
Αν μπορούσαμε να μεταφερθούμε σε ένα μουσικό περιβάλλον του παρελθόντος (χώρα, περίοδο), αυτό θα ήταν…στην Αμερική της δεκαετίας του 90, λίγο πριν το ίντερνετ αλλά μετά από την κατασκευή όλου του καλού gear!
Η πλέον παράξενη ατάκα που έχουμε ακούσει σε live μας είναι…ότι είμαστε πολύ metal (???).
Θα ήταν τέλειο αν κάποτε συνεργαζόμασταν με τη…Sylvia Massey και τους Derek Trucks Band.
Η πλέον υποτιμημένη μπάντα στον πλανήτη είναι...οι Μοtorpsycho φυσικά!
Ένα από τα καλύτερα albums που έχουν ποτέ γραφτεί είναι το...Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Εκτός της μουσικής, γεμίζουμε το χρόνο μας με…μαθήματα (όλοι διδάσκουμε), φωτογραφία, hikes, και κάπου εδώ τελειώνει η λίστα γιατί όλα τα υπόλοιπα έχουν να κάνουν με μουσική και gear.
Ένα βιβλίο που μας συνεπήρε είναι το…Best Seat in the House του Jerry Shirley, εξαιρετικά καλογραμμένη ιστορία των (επίσης υποτιμημένων) Humble Pie.
Μία πόλη που θα θέλαμε να ζήσουμε είναι…το San Francisco επειδή συνδυάζει τέλειο καιρό, με ωραία στούντιο και ενεργή μουσική σκηνή.
Σε 10 χρόνια από τώρα θα θέλαμε σα μπάντα να…έχουμε ακόμη την ίδια, αν όχι περισσότερη, αγάπη και όρεξη να συνεχίσουμε αυτό που κάνουμε.

When we got on stage for our first gig…we got so excited because we heard our music that loud, for the first time.
The Cypriot (FM) radio nowadays…supports as less as possible the music that comes from Cypriot musicians, so it offers absolutely nothing to us.
We would really like to give a concert at…The Roundhouse in London!
It would be great if we had composed….Ode to Summer by Syd Arthur.
A gig that we attended -as part of the crowd- and really “blow our minds”, was… Motorpsycho at Fuzz Club, this past September.
Our advice to anyone who wants to form a band is…first they should find their own music identity.
Without internet, music…and life would be very different.
If we could go back to the past, and live in a music environment (country, era), that would be…in the U.S during the end of the 90’s, right just before internet, but right after the build-up of all that good “gear”.
The weirdest thing we have heard in one of our gigs is…that our music is totally metal (???).
It would be great if we ever had the chance to work with…Sylvia Massey and the Derek Trucks Band.
The most underrated band in the world is…Μοtorpsycho, of course!

Apart from music, we spend our time…with lessons (we all teach), photography, hikes and, well, nothing more to mention, because all our other activities involve music.
One book that we were really overwhelmed by was…Best Seat in the House by Jerry Shirley, nicely written story of one also underrated band, Humble Pie.
One city that we would love to live in would be…San Francisco, because it has a good combination of perfect weather, good music studios and a very strong music scene.
In 10 years from today, we -as a band- would like to…have the same urge, love and need to do what we are doing now.
